We stayed in this hotel in November 2011 for our 10th marriage anniversary. We are regular travelers to Maspalomas but never stayed in this hotel. We stayed in a few 5 stars properties in this resort. Needless to say that Palm Beach exceeded our best expectations. It is exceptionally clean. Rooms are very comfortable with new very good beds, flat TV and coffee machine. We had it in our room which was a suite, I am not sure about rest of them. For us food one of the most important part of a holiday. Very often at the end of the week you feel seek eating. In Palm Beach food is very very good, fresh and tasty. And their idea to mix a la cart with a barbecue buffet nights twice a week is brilliant. It makes you not to eat to much. At least not every night:) Hotel has very well laid out pools areas. Separate for the children. Fresh water, sea water and fabulous spa with mineral water pool.Majority of people staying in the hotel are German, which we did not mind at all. They all were very friendly, private and nice. Another thing we liked a lot that you are hugely recognized in there by all the staff members and the manager of the hotel Rocío Cibrán. She is the best! I want to thank her personally and all the staff of the hotel for the wonderful service. We will be back this year!

Fantastic hotel with truly five star service and facilities.Rooms have minibar, tea/coffee, 99 tv stations including sky sports 1, very comfortable beds, carpeted, bathroom with shower, digital scales, bathrobes, slippers etc.
My balcony overlooked the pool, some palm trees and the sea! The staff are truly wonderful, anticipating guests needs and if you need anything, just ask and they will sort it.
Breakfast served 8am to 11am is huge, croissants from the hotels own bakery, melon and various other fresh fruits as well as a chef to prepare omlettes, pancakes, eggs, bacon etc. Room service is available till 9.30pm and the hotel is located virtually on the beach.
There are two pools, two saunas, tennis courts, yoga etc.The sunbeds are the best I have ever seen and are looked after by the pool attendants who will arrange cushions and towels for you.
African Bar by the pool does great lunchtime snacks and although I didn't use the restaurants, the fillet steak from room service was perfect.Although an expensive hotel to book, well worth the money, especially with drinks and food being reasonably priced .

We have just returned from Christmas and are already planning to return. Excellent customer service offered by all well trained and very friendly staff- brilliant selection of food even on half board- vista of the dunes,sea and mountains are breath taking. Predominantly geared towards adults with a great range of pool areas and activities. Try The Orangery restaurant as a treat- WOW factor food!!! Take a taxi to Puerto RICO and then a sea taxi Mogan, delightful trip to a beautiful small resort. This was a real eye opener as the quality of service, location and amenities were exceptionally high.

The Palm Beach hotel is a nice one. The service is perfect. The breakfast is perfect as well. Sure we are talking about an 5 star hotel. The dinner and the barbeque (every 2 or three nights) is delicious as well. The second pool is very beautiful and sourounded by palms etc. BUT: They the Palm Beach was the first desist hotel at Gran Canaria. And yes that's true. In 2011 I am expecting something different of a design hotel. Room very small, almost no design. Pricing about €130-200 per night and person. Dinner €51 (!) per person. Ok it's a 5* hotel, but still located in spain. In some areas there is design, but do not expect s.th. like East Hotel in Hamburg or Side Hotel. Summary: perfect service, location top, pricing much to high, no wow-effect about the design
