If you get the opportunity to stay at this hotel- jump at the chance!
From the minute we arrived and entered the hotel we were blow away by how amazing it looks and the architectural is incredible. Its African themed/inspired and is based around, dark wood, lots of glass, walkways over water and tropical plants. The bedrooms/bathrooms did not disappoint, very spacious, lots of wardrobe space, a huge bath and wet-room shower and always impeccably clean and tidy.
The service and staff throughout the hotel should applauded and are second to none. There are always plenty of staff wanting to assist in a very friendly and courteous manner.
For anyone with kids, there is a kids club and lots of activities and daily/nightly entertainment for kids. There are a few kids pools dotted around the hotel too.
We stayed on a full board basis, and although the food was of an excellent standard with lots of choices, ranging from hot and cold buffet, meat-steak, chicken, pork and one night-Zebra! fish-bass, halibut, Salmon, seafood-prawn, octopus, salad bar, variety of vegetables, deserts, cheese, soups..you name it. If I was going again I would probably book B&B so as to enjoy the delicious and wonderful selection of restaurants in the town of Meloneras itself. We ate along the promenade on 2 nights, a wonderful Italian and fabulous Faro Grill and the food was brilliant.
Meloneras itself is a small but beautiful town. It has lovely upmarket shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. It is kept in pristine conditions, with beautiful flowers in bloom and grass neatly kept. As I mentioned there is a lovely selection of restaurants, from Italian, to Mexican, Chinese and Sushi. There is also a very lively bar called the 19th hole, which has live music and a great atmosphere every night.
