This was our second time and once again the service at this hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff are the most friendly and helpful you are likely to encounter. Great food and the entertainment was first class. An excellent choice for relaxing winter sun

We have recently had a weeks holiday here, spent with our two children aged 3 and 17 months and also with our best friends and their little girl aged 3. We had an amazing weeks holiday, in which I celebrated my 30th birthday. The hotel is stunning, the rooms gorgeous, we had a swim up room with private pool which I would highly reccomend, the staff always friendly and the food was delicious! Plenty of choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner, just beware I have piled on half a stone in a week! Plenty of options for the children too. The grounds and swimming pools really are beautiful and always lots of sun beds. There was a mini disco on 6 nights a week, the kids loved it! In your room you are allowed to empty mini bar and fill it with your own drinks. We were a little worried about this hotel after reading a few poor reviews, but please don't believe these! I don't know what hotel they are talking about! We always stay 5* and this hotel is definitely worthy of its 5 star rating, highly reccomend this hotel, you will have a super holiday. Can't wait to return.

We had a wonderfull stay at this hotel. The food was really good and the staff very freindly. Some of the pools were very cold, but this a minor point. Our room was very nice, clean & tidy with plenty of space. There was too much noise coming through the walls at night time while we wre trying to sleep.
I was really dissapointed with the opening times for the Gym. It needs to open at 7.30am as most people exercise in the morning. The sauna in the nearby Costa hotel was not open either until 10am. This is no good. Other guests commented on this as well.
I will come back to this hotel in the future and hope they change the opening hours for the Gym & Sauna.

We visited the Lopesan Baobab over New Year for a week and we had a brilliant holiday. We were with my parents in law, and our children aged 9 and 6. You feel as if you've arrived at a Disney resort as it is so big and impressive. We arrived on New Year's Eve and went straight for the buffet and then on to the party. We had a great night and one which was completely unexpected.
We were upgraded to family suites with direct pool access which were amazing. Really big and my son loved opening the balcony doors in the morning and diving into the swimming pool.
Food was good with lots of variety but by the end of the week you long to be served at a table rather than the buffet and have something completely different.
We loved the variety of swimming pools, the lazy river and the beach pools and having a choice kept things interesting.
My son joined in with the kids activities which were good but not that adventurous - they could do with a more extensive programme but he was happy!
Service was pretty good most of the time but if you don't like big resorts don't come here. We had a great holiday though and I would recommend it highly.
