First of all, this place has some of the most friendliest and helpful staff I have ever encountered. Very clean surroundings and very good food in the restaurant which are very reasonable prices. We paid rock bottom prices for this place so was very good value. The only thing that brought this place down was the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept on. I hardly slept when I was there and the pool was ice ice cold. I had read in places the pool was meant to be heated but it was freezing. If it weren't for the friendly staff and amazingly cheap prices, I would have given this place a 2. I probably wouldn't stay here again but most people seemed happy who I spoke to about the place. I think we can't really complain for the ultra cheap prices we paid.

Where do I start, I can honestly say I would never stay at this place again if someone paid me! And I strongly recomend that if you are thinking of booking this apartment complex, please don't! If you have already booked, I would try to book elsewhere. This place was so dirty, I didn't even want to unpack my suitcase, so didn't. I walked around the apartment the whole time with my shoes on! Upon arrival at 5.30 in the evening, the reception (otherwise the bar) was closed, shutters down with simply a paper notice on stuck on saying that our apartment was number 13 and had been left open. Now maybe I'm old fashioned but what happened to greeting your guests after their flight, I mean 5.30 pm is not late. This was just the start of things to get worse. The apartment had loads of hairs on the floor and to be honest looked as if it hadn't been cleaned from the previous guests. Our bed sheets were not changed once throughout the whole week and we only had a change of towel once. The apartment complex was suppose to house a maximum of 2 guests each (3 in some, with pull out beds) although it was full of spanish people mostly young that were sleeping 5 in an apartment. They were so loud and inconsiderate, pool rules were that there was to be no loud music after 10pm and no swimming in the pool after 9pm, each night these rules were broken and when the spanish were still partying at 3am we complained the next morning and the reception/bar lady just replied with 'perphaps they were drunk'. During the day wasn't much better as they were having spitting competitions in the pool and snorting through their nostrils. As for the beds, well you would be just as good sleeping on the floor. I am angry but more upset that we have wasted precious holiday time and money to stay here. Please, please, please don't book this as I don't want anyone else to have the same experience.

Having read other reviews, with regards to security,we were a little worried what we would find. However upon arrival we could relax when we found that any of the issues we had read about previously had been rectified. The doors and windows in the bungalows had had added locks and chains, a safe was also available to hire.
The accommodation was clean as was the pool area. The maids and maintenance man of the complex could be seen busily carrying out their duties on a daily basis.
The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, with the bar/restaurant closing at 9pm stopping any unwanted revelling late into the night.
The location of the complex to us was great, it is located in a nice quiet spot with a pleasant 30 min walk to the beach.
We would definitely return to this complex and would recommend it to friends and family.

We stayed here as we wanted to be in a small apartment area and found all we wanted. the staff were all great and the place was ideal for us, though a bit out of the way to find when we drove from the airport. If only the map had shown Holiday World we would have found the place easier. The apartment was clean and the maids came 3 times during our stay, the reception and bar ladies were there to advise on anything. the only thing we would like to advise on is == the camera shop in FARO 2 shopping and restaurant area is NOT TO BE USED.We went in to the shop to ask why our camera had stopped working and we were told the battery is dead and not chargeable so we bought a New one. the man charged us 69 euros for a battery that we found elsewhere in town for half the price, We have reported the shop FOTOJOHN to Sony and they are investigating the prices charged, however Sony say they have no control over prices! but would find a local Rep to call in and speak to the man in the shop ( he charged our old Battery within 15 minutes of us leaving the shop, and when my wife went back to get it so I could send it to Sony it was on the charger at the back of the shop, ready to be sold to someone I presume!).. Apart from that we had a great holiday and would go back again to the Sun gardens if we decided to return to the area.
