We spent 2 weeks in these apartments in Feb 2012, only the last 5 nights were in a decent apartment. Prior to that we stayed for 4 nights in apartment no.1 in block Oasis Mar which was dark, dirty and depressing. No water supply to the bathroom wash basin and very poorly equipped.
Wemoved to apt. no.3 which was an improvement but the shower didn't work. We had to stay there for 5 nights until we were offered apartment no.5 in block5 Oasis Palmera which was much better with lovely views over the Charca. We have stayed in apartments all over the Canaries, Cyprus and Malta and this one was the most expensive and by far the worst. We don't expect 5 star luxury at 2 star prices but this one was overpriced and sub standard. Apart from Fernando and 1 receptionist no one seemed interested in helping us. The only good thing we can say is that the apartments are in a good location with everything you need within a short walk but we certainly won't be staying there again. Our experience wasn't unique as the same thing happened to 2 other couples while we were there, they kept putting visitors in apt 1 when they knew it was not suitable for people to stay in.

Rather than be in the concrete jungle of Playa del Ingles you should choose these apartments. We loved them and just one street back from great restaurants, the beach and the lovely walk along Melonaras....These apartments were a real find. Yes they could probably do with a bit of a makeover but they are great value, the staff clean every day and there is a small swimming pool attached to each small block of apartments. A taxi to the city centre is about 5 euros from here, but this is the first time in many years that we have spent most of the time in Maspalomas and it was great. The reception area have small safe deposit boxes and they are cheap so you really should prioritise on this particularly as this is such a residential area with many Spanish people owning homes in this street.

We have just returned from a week in these apartments and it was fantastic. We were very lucky to be allocated a one bedroomed house. It is one of the nicest places we have stayed. The staff were lovely and very polite. The location is fantastic, just one road back from the beach. We liked it so much that although we have been back less than a week we have booked to go back again in April ! We found a lovely place to eat which was so good that we went back every night. It was called El Torro, I recomend the steaks although my husband loved the chicken in various sauces. All in all a fantastic holiday.

These apartments are very tired and worn. The cleaning staff do their best but almost every piece of fitted equipment is either damaged, has bits missing, or is long overdue some basic maintenance. The shower was particularly difficult to operate effectively. The basic level TV has some free channels in Spanish and German but you have to pay extra if you want the only English choice of Sky News (why?).
Some members of our party experienced a failure to the water supply in their originally allocated apartment and thereafter were moved to what was best described as a dark dungeon with low ceilings below the level of the adjacent road. Our own nearby flat enjoyed traffic noise from from service vehicles attending the large hotel behind us plus the early morning chatter of cleaners assembling to perform their duties before daybreak.
If the management team could overhaul these premises and raise their standards then the flats would represent good basic budget accommodation, but I cannot recommend them to anyone in their present state. There are much better options available not far away in the nearby area. Seek them out instead.
