As Oscharshamn is a small town it feels wrong to say the location is great, beacause everything really is within walking. The hotel has an history, and the building is beatiful, however, the inside is a mixture... old meets new and the 80ies.
Breakfast and evening meals was a dissapointment, but nice to get the evening meal included in the rate. The room was old, probably clean but it looked worn out. Was fotunate to get a room with a balcony so at least we got some fresh air. Think I'll try the new hotel next time.

“Small, friendly hotel in central location”
Stayed here three nights on a business trip. Good central location. Staff very friendly and helpful and the rooms were nice and very clean. Breakfast was good too.

“Meatballs”
If you like meatballs, you'll like this place. Breakfast, lunch and dinner there is an adaptation of meatballs. Other than that...this is a great hotel in a nice little town that is totally Sweden. I would go back tomorrow.
The Krakan bar is just down the road, and that is great too.
