Pros:
+ friendly, helpful staff
+ delicious breakfast, excellent selection
+ five-minute-walk to Tunnelbana station (metro station) "Brommaplan"
+ cosy room
+ clean bathroom
+ PC in the lobby (free Internet access)
+ safe deposit boxes at the reception to lock away valuables
+ good value for money

Cons:
- only twin beds (no double bed)
- view to the parking lot
- at the main entrance, the snow was not cleared away (you had to be careful not to slip)

Additional Notes:
*) An extremely weird smell was coming out of the shower, so we complained at the reception. The receptionist told us that there were constructions in the basement which caused the smell. She immediately gave us a new room on the first floor.
*) The hotel has its own restaurant, which was very good. However, the choice of dishes is very limited.

In one of my visit with the kids, I wanted to have a nice place and on a peaceful area and I choose this hotel. As I had the car I didn't mind to drive 10 minutes and save the $.
The hotel itself is small, nice & clean. Room was nice and large enough to host the 4 of us and in the morning we had very nice breakfast included in the price.

I am a Diamond VIP HiltonHonors member and stay very often at Scandic Hotels which was, until this week, a member of the Hilton family. This is the worst Scandic I have ever stayed at. Bad parking. I called the reception to ask for direction and they did not know..Not very nice staff at the reception. The heat was broken so the room as icecold (it was -10 degrees Celsius outside), I went down to the reception and they really didn't care so I slept with double blankets and my coat on. The morning after, the girl in the reception said that they now were going to fix the heat in my room but since I was checking out..it did not matter much. The dinner was nice but the breakfast was not. I lot of things were finished and the did not refill. The Scandic Alvik which is close by is a much, much better alternative!!

My flight was cancelled, which made the airline book me into the Scandic Bromma hotel. Since I am a Diament HHonors member I was satisfied with that, also knowing that the Scandic are basic hotels.

So is the Bromma. It is basic. Rooms are simple and boring, but the bed is ok, what is the most important. Bathroom was simple also, with a shower.

The hotel looked not really clean to me, the first room I got was even not cleaned at all. Also the lobby gave me the same impression: tables were absolutely dirty.

Hotel has not really a bar, it is a combined function of bar/restaurant.

Staff was not very friendly and helpfull. The reason for this could be something taht I learned the next morning: The same girl that checked me in at 10PM was checking me out at 8AM,

I don't know the rate of the hotel (was paid by the airline), but if you have enough with a basic room with a good bed than this can be a good choice. For a more relaxed, hig service place you better choose another hotel
