We were very happy with our stay here. We have 3 children which border the child /teen age groups. Plenty to keep them happy, table tennis, pool tables, tennis, swimming pool, cartwheeling in the garden etc etc. Pool not crowded and you can easily get a sunbed. 10 mins on foot to beach and lovely old town of Tossa. Food is not brilliant but for the price you can't complain. Rooms are basic in terms of bathroom facilities. Small shower only. However, maid service is daily and the rooms are very clean. We changed rooms to be next to eachother and realised that some rooms are more modern than others. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Having spent 5 nights at this hotel it was perfect for what we wanted! Paid for half board as was not much more compared to just having breakfast. Room was fine, although bathroom very small and didn't get the double bed we requested. Basic but very clean accommodation. Food was great, different variety each evening, was pleasantly surprised. Staff very friendly, pool/facilities were great. No aircon in room but wasn't a problem in September. Was probably one of the furthest hotels away from the beach/town but still only approx 15 min walk away (nice walk into town, and cheaper bars found on the way!!) Overall would recommend this hotel as good base to holiday and you get what you pay for!!

Too small rooms.The beds were extremely uncomfortable. the lack of air conditioning made the room too hot overnight. It was noisy. We didnt sleep properly all week. The bathroom was small and had no window (the pictures at the webside are showing the big bathrooms!!!) The food was ok. Staff was friendly but I wouldnt visit the hotel again.

the hotel was brilliant value for money, as we were travelling for month it was lovely to have private rooms instead of cramped hostels (and it was cheaper than any hostel we'd stayed in!) on arrival the staff were very friendly (even when i smashed 2 glasses at breakfast in a sleepy haze), the bar was well stoked and the pool ice cold (perfect for cooling off). although some reviewers have complained it was far from the beach, the hostel was in an ideal part of town-5 mins walk from beach(i think thats quite close, and its a nice stroll!) but far enough away from the noise of Old Tossa's bars (great bars,cheap cocktails) if you need a quiet night. also, the rooms were spotless and and nothing was missing (ie 4 towels,2 pillows each ect). Overall i highly recconmend Hotel Marina Tossa-cheap,friendly and most importanly-relaxing!
