I travelled with a school group of four other colleagues and 39 boys aged 12 to 17. The hotel is situated in a safe area on a corner with rooms facing in and out onto the street. We ate our meals in the Novo park next door which looked like it had been refurbished more recently and that it probably had superior rooms to ours. Breakfast was a mixture of cooked fayre, cereals, bread and fruit. Hot drinks and juices were provided. We took out a packed lunch every day although these became samey after a couple of days and we eventually asked the hotel to provide the fruit and water separately as there was so much waste. Dinner provided a wide range of starters on the buffet as well as lots of fish main courses amongst other things. Each evening I helped our vegetarians choose wisely! Dessert was fruit/flan and tiny icecreams which the boys had to be dissuaded from pigging out on. The rooms were for two, three or four (a bit squashed) and it helped that we were roomed away from other schools and private guests. The pool was small enough for them to have a quick splash in and the bar and games area were pleasant. We had a bit of entertainment with the very nice Agustín on our last evening in the games room which the younger boys enjoyed. This is not a five star hotel, but it was very pleasant and we were well looked after. Tossa is a lovely resort I imagine is busy in the summer.
