My wife and I stayed at the Windsor for 4 nights. We could not fault this delightful little hotel! It is in a very central but quiet location. The accomodation is only basic, which is all that's required for sleeping and showering after all! It was however very clean and the small bathroom was modern and more than adequate. The pool area was also very clean and during our stay was very quiet. The bar area was pleasant and the prices were competitive with the rest of the town. During our stay however, it shut at 11pm. The continental breakfast was almost perfect! There were pastries, croissants, cereals, yoghurt, breads, cold meats and cheese on offer. Also the usual choice of teas, coffee and juices. Tthe coffee was very good but sadly the only minor complaint was very cheap juice. Again, during our stay the large breakfast room was very quiet. As with the rooms, all the public areas were very clean. At a cost of 40 euros per room per night for B&B we considered this hotel an absolute bargain! Next time however I would pay a little more for a room with a balcony. I would like to commend all the staff who were very friendly and helpful, with a special thanks to Gloria and Marianne.
Finally, for anyone who's never visited Tossa de Mar, it's a fabulous little town with 3 safe quiet beaches with crystal clear water! The narrow streets of the old town are a pleasure to explore and there are plenty of lovely restaurants.

This hotel is amazingly well located and the accomodations are amazing for the price. We were only about 500 meters from the beach and shopping streets. There was a cute little sandwich shop next door and the hotel bar is really well priced and great if you want to grab a drink before dinner or the beach! Our room was really simple. Nothing extra, but it was clean and had a great view. The pool area was absolutely great with a little courtyard and ping pong. Only bad side was that we asked for one double bed and got two twin beds instead and the front desk woman wouldn't do anything about it. But hey, for the price we didn't care about tying our beds together. Other than that the hotel was perfect.

Stayed here for a fortnight, and had an enjoyable stay. My only complaint is that the restaureant ran out of croissants every day.

Stayed at the Hotel Windsor this August. Receptionist and manager very freindly and helpful. Breakfast was good, better than most budget hotels with a regular hot option and frequently topped up pastries. Hotel spotlessly clean - small pool OK and not too much competition for sunbeds, very central for beach and going out. Rooms a bit sparten and decor dated
Although good value for money there is one major problem if staying in high summer and more than a couple of days - this was the lack of any air conditioning. Don't think this would be too much of a problem for the pool facing rooms with balconies as it would be reasonably quiet. The problem is for the other 50% of rooms which face a building with a noisy air conditioning system and a road. Noise from the street made it impossible to sleep without closing the window. With the window closed it was sweltering. We only managed to get a good nights sleep by investing in a large fan. Hotel needs to splash the cash and invest in some air conditioning, then it would be a very pleasant place to stay
