Great location, service excellent and highly recommended.
Stayed at this hotel many times over last few years and always good.
The adjoining Spa is also good but treatments can be expensive.
Usually various options on room types to suit most budgets.

The walk into town is just right and also a great ‘digestif’ after a late meal in town.
Just 25 mins drive from Girona Aiprort make s it easily accessible. Enjoy.

I am gonna make this short and sweet because as I write this i am sweating my behind off because the air conditioning isn't working in my room, and management won't fix it. Pretty much the above review sums up my opinion of the place. The dinner was worse than cruise ship food. The rooms are tiny and of poor quality. The beds are worse than cots. The rooms are clean but need to be redone. The hotel is worse than a Super 8 except for the views( If you don't get a view then there is really no reason to stay here). The only nice part about the hotel is the bar. The other common areas are ok. The gym doesn't have air conditioning as well. I brought the few dumbbells outside. I would look elsewhere.

Tossa De Mar is generally a very nice place - nice sea view, old town, nice restaurants, convenient access to Barcelona and various interesting mountain towns.
Two big shortfalls of Tossa de Mar - first, absence of night life (I could not find a single night club and very few bars that were open past midnight did not look credible), and, second, absence, complete absence, of decent hotels. In such absence, Premier Gan Hotel is clearly the best among the worst - excellent position vis-a-vis the sea (almost right on the shore) and away from central roads and excellent views and terraces. With all the natural advantages, the management was able to completely screw up the place - rooms are ridiculously tiny, especially single rooms, but clean (no complaints about that). Food: breakfast (and if you take lunch and dinner) was bad. Service in the restaurant is a nightmare. Service is in the bar is mediocre. Reception was good. Overall the place reminded me about (and it smelled and was designed as) soviet style hotels - more or less clean, tiny personal space, huge common space, no style or decor, ancient and mediocre service. It was okay for a 4 day stay, but I would not go there again. This means I will need to go somewhere else as in Tossa de Mar this is still the best place (everything else just looked horrifyingly ugly). So if you plan to go to Tossa de Mar, that's probably no 1 choice. And if you do that - make sure that you get the sea view room. There is no garden view - if you don't get the sea view, you will get a view on the wall of a building, which will make your stay even more miserable. But sea view is excellent. Forgot to mention - noise isolation is poor - the woman next to my room would want TV until 1 am and I would hear every word of the TV - so could not sleep until she would go to bed.

This is a typical Spanish 4*, no surprise. a bit pricy. The location is perfect, Tossa is a lovely town, and the hotel is in the best place in town. in many ways its is almost perfect, but lets itself down.

first, the internet (cost EUR 12 per day) is very poor. I was unable to connect in the room to the WiFi, and in the common areas in the lobby the signal is good, but very hard to connect, with connections being cut all the time. And its slow, very slow. This is enough for me not to come back.

second, they charge for the room safe. I have never in extensive traveling experienced that. They told me in the reception this was common in Costa Brava. Maybe, but I think its going too far in a hotel that is not cheap.

They also charge EUR 12 for parking a car per day.

oh, and we found sand on the bedroom floor and even in the bed, cleaning I guess is not top priority.

I will come back to Tossa, but stay elsewhere
