Very nice hotel - perhaps the best in the Tossa. Superb location right at the waterfront. Direct access to the beach. Just a few minutes walking to the centre of Tossa with dozens of good restaurants, bars, shops, etc. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are not too big but very clean and nicely decorated (we had junior suites). Excellent full breakfast. Some small but very nice things you would not normally expect in a three star hotel (actually I would rate it higher) – like champagne at breakfast and free minibar on you arrival. The hotel’s restaurant is probably one of the best in Tossa – superb food at a reasonable price. On the beach - good snorkeling, diving schools, nice local sea trips.


Make sure that you have a sea view from your room. People leaving negative comments about this hotel probably did not have one.

Right at the beach with an icredible view from our balcony. Comfortable room. Not very attractive from the outside. Very polite and friendly staff.

If you believe any of the positive reviews of this sad, depressing hotel, you will incredibly disappointed. We were here in April, which is not the high tourist time, but they still stuck three of us into a tiny room overlooking the disgusting parking lot. The bathroom was so small that there was barely enough room to move between the sink and the toilet. The curtains and bed covers looked like they had not been replaced since the hotel opened--from the looks of the cracking stucco and mildew everywhere, it was sometime in the 1960s. The sheets were thin and worn. Yuck. Long black hairs in the bathroom. The balcony area was closed for painting, and the smell permeated the entire hotel. We went down to the bar, hoping that alcohol would at least make us forget where we were staying, and they served us the most disgusting version of rum and vodka known to man. We could not get out of there fast enough. The only halfway decent thing was the breakfast buffet. They had eggs cooked to order, which was nice. But other than that, stay away.
We got our rate on the Best Western web site and it was a giant rip off--the Best Western next door is much nicer.

I stayed in this hotel last year as I wanted a base within striking distance of Barcelona. It was awful. The room was tatty and excessively hot as it was over the kitchens. There was no one serving in the bar and I waited two hours to check out as there were no reception staff on duty. Ended up feeling totally ripped off. Never got a response from Best Western and got the overall inpression they didn't care as they running the place down in favour of the other BW hotel in Tossa de Mar. I don't understand how the other reviewers rated it so highly.

Liked the resort lots of choice of places to eat, friendly atmosphere.
