Visiting friends in Monte Gordo.... November very quite, weather sunny and bright, not sure
if I would sunbathe. The beach is fabulous goes on for miles, possibly the best feature of
Monte Gordo, People lovely, food OK. Only had BB in hotel. Hotel spotless friendly, but not
4 star. UK 3 star. In the centre of town and a 5 min walk to beach. Only 2 stories high so not to overwhelming. Swimming pool heated and undercover..

The hotel is rather small scale, at a quiet square just a few blocks away from the boulevard. Wonderful North-african themed decorations, friendly staff, clean and spacious. It took them the full week to fix the wireless internet, which is only available in the lobby. Breakfast is standard, but don't expect too much. be careful with the ham, one morning it smelled funny. Dinner is OK, but there are lots of excellent restaurants just a stroll away.

Have just come back form staying here Hotel excellent staff brilliant very friendly nothing to much trouble. Food was good we stayed half board and the evening meal was excellent with different menus everynight we were there for ten days. Only problem was that there was no entertainment except on saturday night which was very very old fashionsed more suitable to 70year olds this doesx need to be given some thought.

Lovely hotel rooms nice and clean beds comfortable only booked for breakfast which was plentiful good choice of food, never ate there at night time as there where many resturants to chose from. This is was our second time in Monte Gordo will return as it is nice and relaxing, not far from Spanish border and also Real Villa Santo Antonio is a must.
