“Decent hotel”

I stayed in this hotel with the goal of passing the Reveillon 2006/2007 in Leiria.
The hotel is simple but decent. There's not much more to say about it.
Leiria was a delusion as a city.
In the night of the reveillon every restaurant was closed and we couldn't see anyone in the streets at 22h00m.
That forced me to go to Nazaré (a city nearby) to pass the reveillon.
Nazaré is a fishermen's village really great and animated.
In my opinion you can skip Leiria as there isn't anything really interesting to do there.

The Do Jaoa 111 is well run, it's not the prettiest building to look at but offers excellent value for money, the rooms are a little old fashioned(70's) but very clean, a little small but the air conditioning really works, car access is easy+ there`s a carpark underneath the hotel. It`s a short walk from the old part of town. We would be happy to stay there again. Val
