Very nice hotel, free parking, across from the monastery. A bit dated, but fairly clean. Good deal for the price. The beds are quite firm, but that is a standard in Portugal. Would have liked a better view. Excellent price and a low price for the extra bed for our teenager. Very convenient. Nice breakfast.

We may have got the good rate as May is supposed to be a quiet month but this was not reflected in the service. It may be a little worn but the hotel is still of a good standard. Close enough to the town square to enjoy the atmosphere but far enough away to provide a quiet environment. The basement carpark was a bonus due to the narrow approach road. very helpfull staff - well recommended.

We enjoyed a one-night stay in a comfortable, medium-sized room in this well-located, reasonably-priced hotel next to the monastery. Everything was in good condition and we had no complaints. The cable TV offerings are very limited. They have free parking on the ground floor under the hotel. We had a wonderful view of the monastery from our room window (see photo). The cold breakfast was simple but adequate - cold cuts, cheese, yogurt, rolls, coffee. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Its a home away from home..staff is very helpful and accomodating...We would never stay anywhere else in Alcobacca! Highly recommendable!
