This was a good place to stay while I had business in the area. Rooms are adequate by Scandinavian standards, spartan but clean and comfortable with in-room phones and good Internet service and breakfast buffet.
The Internet service is a bit awkward because they have you use scratch cards instead of a simpler system for logging on to the Wifi, but the signal and speed are good.
The breakfast buffet is generous, with good variety and uniformly high quality.
The hotel has an indoor pool that requires a separate admission fee. I don't think there is a fitness center, but Kongsberg has some great walking paths by the river right outside the door, so we didn't miss it.
The only thing it lacked was a true business center with fax, printer, etc. right there. The front desk can help with some things and there's an Internet kiosk in the lobby.
