Stayed at the hotel with family. We had 3 rooms overlooking the beautiful lake - location and surroundings are outstanding! However, the hotel is absolutely outdated and the rooms needs a huge overhaul. The cleanliness of the room was horrible, and the size is very very small. We had a socalled family room. We are 2 adults and 2 kids, and we needed a little more space. 2 single beds and a foldout (very spotted and dirty) bed for the 2 kids. Bathrooms are horrible with no tub and tiles are cracked. Even though the staff knew we were 4 people there was only 2 towels and no toiletpaper when we arrived. When asked for more, the staff asked if we had looked in the bed for more towels !!! Unbelievable. Will never stay there again.

Just got back from a 10 day stay at the Best Western Golf Hotel Viborg. On the positives the location around the lake is very pleasant and the breakfast OUTSTANDING, the front desk staff were somewhat helpful l. We had two twin beds that were comfortable. Now for the rest....the hotel needs to be updated. The carpeting throughout the hotel is very old, worn and dirty. The bathroom in our room (415) had cracks in the tile and quite a bit of mold. The drains smelled. Towels were replenshed daily but reaked of cigarette smoke. The whole hotel smelled like cigarettes. The pool was "heated" to a chilly temperature, and could have used a good cleaning. Overall, I would never stay here again.

Went to a wedding here in August & had perfect weather for the big day. Great surroundings for the wedding, with the lakes & the conference centre & other facilities. My only grumble was the heat of the actual hotel, as soon as you entered the reception it was like a sauna. The rooms were even hotter & the size of the mosquitoes outside & stuck behind the net curtains meant you either roasted or got bitten to death!

There is a jacuzzi & average sized swimming pool (which was cold) and a pool table.
