“The best in Slagelse.....but then, there is not much choice!”

I've stayed at the "Hotel Fred" twice now on business and have very much enjoyed my stay both times. The rooms are very nice, above average in terms of decor and very inviting. I only ate in the restaurant on my second visit (July 2011) and although OK, the restaurant was very "formal", the menu was limited to maybe 6-7 dishes of traditional Danish stodge. On my previous trip (March 2008) we headed into town and grabbed a pizza which was much more enjoyable. Breakfast next morning was a different story....good choice and plenty to go at.

The staff were very helpful and were incredibly courteous. I developed a really bad tooth ache/problem during my stay and the Receptionist couldn't do enough to search for some pain relief. A great hotel, strange location at the back of the Superstore car park, but with easy access to the highway it's very handy.

Hopefully, I'll be back again!

“Nice hotel, with nice staff”

The rooms very quite good. Nice and helpfull staff, and a nice big breakfast.

They have a very small fitness center, that I would not recommend. And the location is on the outskirts of Slagelse close to the Highway, but no noise from there though.

All in all a nice very average hotel, if you have to stay in Slagelse this is the place.
