“Good hotel for buiness travel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 January 2012

person found this review helpful

I've stayed at this hotel a few times for business will continue to return. The hotel is very conveniently located in the center of Spa, with many restaurants a short walk away. The rooms are clean and have good (free) internet connections. There is a conference center that works well for our meetings--we've had about 50 people comfortably in the room.

The only miss for the hotel is the parking. The parking in front of the hotel is limited and maneuvering is difficult.

Room Tip: Rooms that face the back of the hotel are much quieter.

“"OK" hotel for one night stay - and a must in case of Spa Termes visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 January 2012

If you plan to visit SPA (including termes) that's the only hotel for you to stay - it's connected with funicular that goes directly to the Termes entrance - so you avoid - parking, dressing and undressing and all these hassle.
Rooms - OK, a bit "used", but still quite clean.
Breakfast - definitely can be better - coffee is just a brown water, don't try orange juice, but salmon and yogurts choice are fine.
So, in summary - good for one night stay, staff is OK, but not a "must be" place.

“Place to be when going to the Spa thermal baths.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 December 2011

The hotel in itself is good but nothing out of the ordinary. However, when you stay in the hotel because you want to visit Spa in combination with the thermal baths then it is really the best place to be. You can go from the hotel to the baths in your bathrobe as the hotel is connected by a funicular to the baths. No cues, no parking problems. Try to avoid the rooms facing the courtyard as they are a bit gloomy.

“Good, but not good enough”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 November 2011

We reached the hotel with a large group of old people and everything was taken care of very well. The reception personnel was kind and attentive, spoke English and even assisted me with my poor French. The room was a little bit too small, the rest fine. The air conditioning was too weak, especially on a hot day when the sun was many hours on the window. The main disappointment, and it was a major one, was the evening meal. We sat in a crowded room (outside temperature was about 27 deg C) without any felt air conditioning. The staff refused to open any windows or outside facing doors saying that this is how things should be. It was dreadful. The food was sophisticated, but not really tasty, except for the deserts. On top of it, the waiters behaved "correctly" letting us to feel that they do us a favor servicing us. Breakfast was a different story and smiles were spotted among the staff.

“Great hotel on a perfect location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 October 2011

This is a very good hotel - what you would expect from a Radisson hotel. Location is really perfect in the center of town. I highly recommend this hotel, but not its restaurant which is way too expensive for what you get.
