My wife and I spent 2 nights in the Radisson Blu Balmoral in Spa and came back extremely relaxed and positively happy about the whole package: the room (we had one level above standard) was excellent and the rain water shower a pleasure, the service - from the cleaning lady to the restaurant - was beyond reproach, everybody made us feel welcome!
Initially we wanted to go "out" for food since the Belgian Ardennes are known for the excellent food served, but since we were too tired we decided to eat in the in-house restaurant "Entre terre et mer". The place was a lot more "cosy" on Friday evening than on Saturday, since there were fewer people, but as far as food quality and service are concerned, we were excellently served (we had the menu's on both days).
If we ever go back to Spa (unlikely) we will certainly choose the same hotel, but we will positively look for Radisson hotels in the future!

We had booked an Air&Lumiere package and it was good value for money. We got an upgrade to a junior suite. Very nice small appartment actually, renovated, modern design in the old building. The food included in the package was very good. The service is done by young people and it is true, sometimes a lack in the organisation but their kindness replaced the small incidents largely. The massages and facial treatment were done by two very professional ladies and nothing to complain here either.
Quiet location with free parking.

We've had a great stay in Spa!
The hotel is situated on the hill of the city, almost in the middle of the forest and not in the noisy city center. We were welcomed by a charming lady, who really made us feel welcome! When we entered our room, I noticed immediatly the large bathroom and the rainshower. I wasn't very much a fan of the cushions but overall I've had a nice and quiet night. The large breakfast buffet is definitly to be recommended!
We will certainly go back to Spa and this Hotel!

Been there a few years ago, than tried the Radisson in city center. But tought would be nice to go back to the Balmoral after the renovation. And we were right to stay there again.
We love the area and the easy access by car and parking facilities.
The food was excellent (menu and à la carte) and not expensive at all (we do not understand some other review here), Buffet Breakfast offers all what we can think of
Just perfect for a weekend break.
