I arrived at the hotel at 10.27PM. Nobody there to check me in. I waited for 10 minutes but could find nobody. I called the hotel emergency number and somebody on the phone told me to wait. I looked around and waited again for 5 minutes. A man was sleeping on the coach in the bar and did not wake up.
I called again the emergency number and i told the person that if this was the service i could expect i would go to another hotel.
He truly gave me the following answer over the phone: 'Then you go to another hotel you f***ing ***hole'. I could not believe my ears.
I would NOT recommend this hotel, even not to my worst enemy.

speed up if you want to stay here. hotel will close soon, as property prices in the area are up to 30.000 euro per qm the owenr decided to sell for a luxury appartment. voila. done.

hotel is ok, no investments taken since the decision obviously, overall friendly people, rooms big, but not up to latest standards. location is great - 150 m to beach, inmidst the nicest area of knokke.
great whisky selection at bar. generous owner concerning drinks at bar. nice breakfast
