Nothing is too much trouble for the owners of the Hotel Gresham. They were unfailingly and genuinely helpful - gave us advise on what to do and where to eat and lent us bikes (which was the highlight of our children's holiday).
The breakfasts are fantastic. Despite being full, the hotel was very quiet. The bedrooms were fine although the showers were a bit awkward to use.
The location of the hotel is excellent - two minutes from the beach, ten minutes walk from the station and tram stop, five minutes walk from the main drag.
I recomment this hotel very highly.

The Gresham is a 3* hotel set back from the road in a quiet residential area, but minutes from the beach, Casino and shops.
You will receive a warm welcome from the owner to this refurbished hotel which has 9 en-suite bedrooms, cosy bar and lounge, and airy breakfast room. A large breakfast buffet is available, with bacon and egg on request. Off street parking is available.
