We were in Knokke this year in September, as we needed a few days of.

We found Charl's, and on the net it looked like a very small, luxury 3 rooms Guesthouse. Price was perfect for this season and so we booked one room. We got the Red one as the others where already sold out.

It was easy to find with the TomTom. We came in (you enter in the Restaurant) and , wow ! Modern Restaurant, great location, friendly staff. Better then expected.
We got the Room key and again : double wow. There Rooms are VERY large, comfortable and , yes, just perfect. Tip : if you like to watch TV, there is a Button next to the entrance door which gives the TV the Power !!

We ate there twice and, its recommandable. A good table, friendly service, used also by the people from Knokke which like to spend an extra Euro for great service and food.

Get there, you won't regret it. Location is as said perfect. You take your car an in 5 minutes you are in Knokke Center, you are next to the Netherlands border.

The only negative is that you have trouble getting WiFi. It's an old bulding and there they could improve a bit.

We'll get back there, for sure !

We went to Auberge du Pêcheur a few months ago! Our stay was unforgettable!!! An employee of Auberge du Pêcheur told me that they have a similar Chambre d'hôtes at the coast of Belgium! Because our stay in Auberge du Pêcheur was extremely good, we booked Charl's!

I was surprised!!! The room was a huge suite with whrilpool and a seperate sitting area (Flatscreen) like in movies!!! The hotel is located just a few minutes of the coast of Knokke! Because the restaurant of Auberge du Pêcheur was for me the best ever, we made a booking in the brasserie of the Chambre d'hôtes! Everything was excellent (highest quality)!

Stunningly huge rooms (we had "Paradise") and well below the rack rate. Dinner excellent in superb - and well-frequented by locals - restaurant. Would definitely go again.

Booked this small hotel for 3 nights, a suprise when you drive into Knokke easy to find. The rooms are beautiful and all 3 different decorated. Nice staff and very good food in they're restaurant. Only 5 minutes drive to the beach.
All in all good experience.
