Ocean Resort Blankeberge, not a very accurate name. First of all not resort at all.
Let’s go in details: Blankenberge is a typical sea side town in Belgium: Long Beach full blocked by a grey buildings wall, the "hotel" fits its place there perfectly. It is located very close to Brugge and this helps when the rains starts.
The "Hotel" was probably built as an apartment building. It has a tiny reception with a attached restaurant. Therefore no gym, swimming pool, wellness center etc; tiny reception plus rooms do not expect more.
The rooms were OK, a bit musty but Ok. The bath was not so bad either. No parking place but not so far from a big public parking. During the weekends must be more going. It is located very central and in see front.

The hotel has a mix of room types so you can check for yourself. My wife and I travelled there with our sons 4 and 8 and had a room with a bunk bed and double bed, fridge, TV etc... The room had a beautiful balconey facing the sea. The staff is very friendly and the manager very helpful. I really do not think there is nicer accomadation in Blankenberge. By the way if travelling with children skip Brugge it is crowded and very much for the tourists and the elderly. If you want to enjoy a Flemish summer treat then head to Blankenberge we had a wonderful time. Make sure you go to the Sun snack for the best fritz and sausage.
