My family and I (wife and 2 year old) recently stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. We found our family room to be spacious and clean, but expected more given the cost of stay.
Pros: Nice quiet location, beautiful scenery and views, clean rooms, attractive common areas.
Cons: Rooms were cold and the staff controls the heat settings. We had to wear sweaters and fleeces pretty much the entire time. Staff was responsive but unfriendly. The "bar" had maybe 6 different drink choices and the only food service was a standard Continental breakfast.
Make sure to bring warm clothes and pack yourself a bunch of snacks. The 3 of 5 stars for this hotel is perfectly justified.
