From the Airport of Munich to the hotel takes you about 35 minutes by taxi. It is a nice area to drive. When you enter the village of Landshut you will see the hotel when you cross the riverbridge.
The hotel is a little dated. You go back to the 80's. Reception is ok, nothing special, except the appels in the bowl on the desk. Fast check in. Rooms ( I had one on the 3th floor) are OK. Wellkept ( German-style) but also a litlle dated. Specially the bathroom with the tiles. A few amenities. Soap and shampoo in a jar on the wall. Something I do not like, cause everyone else touches the botlles.
Tv with a lot of channels.
My balcony had a view on the hotel next to the Lindner hotel.
In the lobby there was a demonstration of Maggi-products and cooking. Litlle busy in a lobby, takes so much space. Also ther was a conference with a lot of people, who took the space in the lobby. Crowded.
But than the restaurant: Nice area, big great windows, with a vuew on the river, where people a finshing, and do there running-tracks. I had a very nice view on the city. and Landshut is a nice city!
Warm welcome at the restaurant, helpfull staff. and a good breakfest.
