Even though Expedia dropped the ball on our reservation, we were accomidated by the hotel staff. We had a nice triple roof for five nights and the service was excellent. We were confused Americans in Italy and the staff helped and went out of their way to help with directions, telephone, and help finding lost luggage.

What a wonderful experience! We had a great stay in beautiful surroundings, typically italian, staff were helpful and the breakfast good. I would highly recommend this hotel for a short break. Frascati a beautiful and Rome easilly accessable. The views from all rooms are great!

We booked this Minotel for the last night of our two week holiday in Italy because we had a morning flight out of Ciampino. The "hotel" is located on the second floor of a very old ex-civic building which is in need of repair. The big advantage is the location in the main square of Frascati and the access to Rome. Frascati is well worth visiting and buzzing in the evening.
Another advantage of this "hotel" is the car parking facility in the inner courtyard of the building, but ensure arrival before 5.00pm as the square is cordened off to vehicles and access into the hotel involves driving around the perifery of the town and hopefully ending up alongside the building.
Access to the second floor is either by an antiquated lift or badly lit marble staircase.
Language was a bit of a problem with the staff and the room was basic needing substanctial repair and decoration with no air conditioning,minibar or tea/coffee facilities. The handles on the doors were hanging off and the bathroom extract fan was on its last legs. Bread rolls,coffee and a cake can be delivered to your room or to a nice little verandah in a morning.
