We stayed in this hotel while driving from the UK to Italy. Biasca is a bustling small modern town but in a wild mountain setting, which is why we chose it for an overnight stop. The hotel itself is part of the minotel chain and looks modern although we suspect that there is the core of an older hotel there somewhere. Rooms were pricey for what they were - small and oddly shaped. On the plus side they were very clean and the staff pleasant and helpful. But the real selling feauture of the hotel is it's bustling restaurant, which is popular with travellers, walkers and locals. It has an extensive menue for pizza and pasta to more rfeined cooking. When we were there it was the Autumn game season - so there was lts of hare and boar on the menu - all impeccably done.
As an aside, if you stopover in Biasca be sure to walk up to the ancient tower church abpve the town - the vies are spectacular and the rare medieval frescoes abonus for the effort.
