Pausa, run by a couple who has picked up entertaining stories, life experiences and culinary adventures throughout their years of world traveling and conscious living, is a pleasantly unique experience. I visited with my brother, his girlfriend and friends, and my mother. I must say throughout my travels, I am happy to see places like this that take the time to enjoy and appreciate their guests. Rooms are spacious and clean. Meals, cooked by the owners themselves from food mostly taken from their garden, are delicious, relaxed, and full of lively chatter. Top it off with a body melting dip in the hot tub and a comfortable bed and you are left with nothing but pure bliss. This place would be great for couples, but is still thoroughly enjoyable as a family, group of friends, or lone wanderer looking for a little taste of the comforts, care, and attention of home...

Been to Pausa Inn last weekend for the first time and found home feel away from home, with the warm welcome of the amazing couple that owns the place Einat & Avigdor, everything felt as if you are at a 5 star location in the heart of paradise, the food, oh the food, the gardens and surrounding, everything is calm and easy, just asked for something and got it with a big smile and a big heart. centrally located at the upper galilee for day travels, wine tasting and nature, just ask Avigdor for recomedations, after a day trip you are enthuthiastic to come back for a feast of lamb, fish and vegetables from the owners gardens, than if you still have any strength left, you can just lie down outdoors on the grass on a blanket and watch one of hundreds of classical movies over a big screen.

My partner and I stayed @ Pausa for 2 glorious nights. The hosts are incredibly hospitable and welcoming. The absolute highlight of our stay was the amazing multicourse food and wine extravaganza that we had for Shabbot dinner. Everything was homemade and prepared with the utmost care. After having this superb dinner we were invited to watch a food themed movie courtesy of the hosts. Would highly recommend this unique and marvelous place.

The garden and surrounding landscape... breathtaking; the quiet...deafening; the concept...unique...(when did you last stay in a hotel/inn with a philosophy that was an extension of the personal beliefs and values of the owners and not of a corporate marketing staff?); the interaction of hosts Einat and Avigdor, and guests creates an atmosphere of cordiality and conviviality; and the food.....the food, a feast for ALL the senses! In a country most known to the rest of the world for turmoil and unrest, Pausa is a sanctuary of calm and sanity for those times when "the world is too much with us" and we need to be reminded to savor our surroundings, our companions, and the food and drink we put into our bodies.
