We stayed here for one night on the 10th May 08. We booked the hotel as we like the location and we were not dissapointed. The rooms really do look out onto the river and you feel like you can jump in or touch the water. It is right on the prettiest little street in rheinfelden and next to the footbridge into Germany! We drove here and although you can not park right outside the hotel the car park is only a short stoll away 2 mins maximum and if you have a lot of bags you are allowed to load and unload outside the hotel door! The rooms were ample and clean we couldnt have asked for more just for one night! The only downfall I can find with this hotel is that it was hot in our room and didnt have air conditioning, we couldnt open the windows for fresh air as there was a lot of mosquitoes, they were having a bad season with them. But the whole experience was great and we would stay here again without a doubt!!!

It is certainly not a luxury hotel but the rooms are clean (a little on the small side), the views are nice and the hotel is well-kept. The breakfast is okay but nothing special. The staff is helpful but not overly friendly. Because the hotel is located at the start of a pedestrian-only shopping area, you will have to park in a parking garage about a block and a half away. It's a pretty short walk and the hotel will give you a card to place in your car window so you don't have to pay. The hotel is situated right on the Rhine River. We fell asleep each night with the window open to the gentle sound of the rushing river. Our room overlooked the border crossing at the beginning of the bridge that separates Switzerland from Germany. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

We have stayed one night at the Hotel Schiff am Rhein.

The Windows was just above the River Rhein you had the feeling just to jump into the water.
The view was wonderfull. The room was not to big and in the 70s style, specially the bathroom. But it was clean and for one night ok.

The hotel is average, but to the see on the river is great.
