We stayed for 9 nights in two poolside villas. Having read previous write ups on Trip Advisor we were aware the villas were due an update but booked anyway as we got them for a good price. We were allocated villas separated by one undergoing renovation. Although we both paid the same price for each villla one was standard and the other deluxe (updated). We felt being poolside was compensation enough for the minor disruption the building work caused. We assume the renovations will be complete by the start of the main season. We arrived close to midnight, the hotel directions were OK but there was no visible sign from the way we approached the entrance. We rang ahead to say we would be late and the security guard waited with our keys. In the standard villa the kitchen and bathrooms were dated but usable, in the deluxe they are laid out much better. The reception staff were very helpful, maid service was more often than advertised and the pool/gardens were spotless. There is a minimarket within 10 mins stroll (out of entrance turn right, then left at next junction) where you can buy fresh croissant and bread (open 8.30 - 8.30 when we visited). Overall we had a great time at Mouragolf, having the pool just a few steps from the door, never too busy. A short distance from Oceanica Victoria, backing onto the Old Course. 5 mins drive to marina, 5 euros taxi ride - we didn't walk it as the temperature was still in 20s in the evening.

We stayed for two weeks. Were the best vacation we've ever had with the children. The pool of the resort is excellent and people very friendly. We found the villa in Vilamoura at it from their website http://www.mouragolf.com and fall in love with. The golf, beaches, and the best restaurants. I strongly recommend. They advised on local dream. The Algarve is a beautiful place. Thanks to all staff and Mouragolf the wonderful moments ... Dream vacation

Nice small villa right next to the old course golf field. Very well equiped and with a nice garden and swimming pool. Lovely ambience, ideal for families with young children. Friendly staff. The only down point was that it was expensive.
