Stayed here for 2 nights in August and had a good experience.
The hotel is good value for money, the rooms are large and very clean.
Has 1 pool which is a decent size , it's very quiet by the pool you could hear a pin drop.
Breakfast at the hotel is average as is the lunch.
Decor in rooms and hotel is slightly old fashioned but the hotel rooms are very clean.
Hotel is a fair distance from the marina but a shuttle service is provided.
Overall if your looking for a hotel on a budget in Vilamoura then I would recommend this place. Very quiet though so if your looking for somewhere with a bit more life then go elsewhere.

The service we recieved was excellant from start to finish, at the reception welcoming us and when booking trips for us. Silva at the bar/bistro was lovely and very chatty, my partner struck up a friendship with him chatting footie each day. Really nice people.

Apartment was excellant we had a one bedroom villa (D1) which was really roomy, Loads in kitchen area including dishwasher, microwave and toaster which you dont always get. Just remember to bring dish towels, washing up liquid and tablets to save buying when there. Terrace area was lovely to chill out in out of the sun or have breakfast or a romantic evening nightcap. Very quiet place to stay so great if your looking for a peaceful holiday where your not kept awake with noisy bar music till all hours. There were families with children in the complex however the apartments are so well spaced out that you can still have privacy if you wish it. The pool and bar area is nice and never too crowded even in August. The food available was excellant and good value for money if you dont want to travel into the marina area of the evening.
The apartments are not in the main drag however if you enjoy a nice walk each day as we do it is a very pleasant scenic walk to the beach/marina. Also if you are keen on keeping fit there is an excellant running/cycling/walking path leading into the centre area with outdoor gym aperatus which is great fun to use if you like to keep fit and work off the holiday treats.
Overall a wonderful place to have a holiday and to stay. Weather amazing, lots of not too expensive day time activities to take part in if thats your thing, yes the marina can be expensive to eat and drink but it costs nothing to stroll round this very glamous area admiring the plush boats and very flashy super cars!!!
So if you want a inexpensive sunshine break close to the lavish resort this is definately a fab bet!! Highly recommended!!!

Me and my girlfriend stayed here and were very pleased with this resort. I call it a resort as its like a collection of apartments scattered arcross a very green and eye pleasing surrounding. The rooms were great, we had a ground floor villa/apartment. Very spacious with double bedroom,big bathroom suite, living area, open plan kitchen and patio with table and chairs. It had a very homely feel to it, and we could watch the sunset from our patio while enjoying a glass of sangria! Pool area is nice, always sunbeds available and relaxed. This place is located out of the centre, but there is a bus stop right outside and it cost 2 euro per person to jump on the bus to the centre/Marina which takes about 5-10min. The buses run every hour approx. If you want a taxi then this will cost 6 - 10 Euro depending on the route the driver takes! some decide the longer route better.....if you are someone that likes to be 5min walk from everything then this place is not for you. However if you want a quite, relaxed and homely feel and don't mind hopping on a bus then i would highly recommend.......

Stayed for one week with my partner in an apartment with views overlooking the complex and golfcourse at the back. Prado Do Golf is a lovely, peaceful place with excellent and friendly staff who are very helpful. It was just the right place for us to recharge our batteries. The Marina is 5 minutes away by taxi and the next town Quarteria is 10 minutes. Previous reviews suggested getting a car and while I can see the benefits of this, you can get around just as easy without one. Taxis are usually around 5 Euros. Its very close to the golf courses if you are into the sport and i noticed they arrange transfers to and from the courses. The food in 'O Sino Bistro' beside the pool is lovely as are Christina and Silva who take time to chat and get to know you - cannot sing their praises high enough. Definately worth going for those who like a laid back, peaceful holiday.
