Have just spent 5 nights at this hotel and even in November it was clearly a popular choice.
I chose an upgrade to a deluxe room based on previous reviews. Our room was on the 8th floor with a sea view, which was lovely. The bed is very comfortable with wonderful pillows. The room had everything you would expect, my only negatives would be the hairdryer isn't very powerful, the bathrobes were very short and on the small side. Had to turn the lady away doing the turn down service because she always arrived around 7pm when we were getting ready for dinner, but I stil had the chocolates!! The breakfast buffet was very good, we did eat in the hotel restaurant but feel you get better value in the marina area our favourite was the Mayflower. The service in all areas of the hotel is excellent. Large indoor and outdoor pools. Lots of bars to choose from we liked the Irish bar and the 19th hole all just a short walk to the hotel, overall excellent value must be amazing in the summer. If the opportunity arose I would definately return to this hotel.

This is a very nice hotel in Vilamoura. The reception area is spectacular and gave us a good impression when we arrived.
The staff were friendly and helpful, they were aware that we were on our Honeymoon, and a fresh chocolate cake, bottle of Champagne and strawberries were left in our room on the first day. Another cake & bottle of bubbly were left in the room a few days later, on the date of my Birthday, so these were nice touches.
The room was spacious and clean, on the 9th floor, with great views over the Marina, the room was a bit dated, but that may now be changed, as they are renovating the hotel on a floor by floor basis.
The pool area is very, very spacious and it was lovely to just lounge around there, the staff there are not as interested or as fast as they could be…

The Tivoli was absoutely beautiful. Very modern with a laid back vibe.

Bedrooms were gorgeous. Luxurious bedclothes, spacious room with an amazing view over the Marine, perfect for people watching! Bathroom was outstanding. Really well equipped with great little touches!

The pool was spot on. Busy but with enough loungers to have space, great atmosphere. The restaurant and bar were quite quiet, probably due to the amount around the marina. The rooftop terrace was great to sit on early evening and have a quiet drink with a great view. The beach was nicley done however it was a little overpriced to hire a sunlounger. A day bed you might need to get a second mortgage for!

We were lucky to have a modern room as our floor had been converted, however it is my understanding that some of the rooms still have quite old fashioned decor so I would specify a modern room when booking.

Would definitely return to the hotel again and again.

Great location, right on marina. Have stayed here 3 times now and always good value for a 5* hotel. Unlike others in the area when booking you don't need to pay extra for sea veiw as they usually give you one anyway (we go in March so off peak).

Buffet breakfast is amazing, even has an omlette chef! We also stayed over new year this year and found the music in the Tikki Hut (disco) a bit noisy but it was only one night. One of our party had marina view and they did not hear anything. I have heard that in peak summer the disc is on a lot so a marina view might be a good idea!

Also sign up for frequent guest pass, after about 10 nights you will always get upgraded room and even if you only stay once you get free English paper and internet access which is worth a 2 minute form to fill.
