We were a group of 4 middle aged males over for a 5 night golfing trip. The hotel location is absolutely perfect. Just a minute walk from the centre of the marina. The rooms were clean and well equipped with a generous size balcony over looking the marina and sea. Breakfast is served from 6-10 and was again delicious. All the staff we encountered we're friendly and helpful. All in all a great trip, we will return next year.

some beating for golfing. 8 courses I think but many more around if you want to go further a field but it puts the prices up of course.

In Vilamoura we got the free shuttles from visocar to the vilamoura courses they collect you at your hotel. But we did go out one day to Quinta do Lago to play and used the same guys as collected us from the Airport yellowfishtransfers they are called actually they are a good suggestion if there is a lot of you as they have got large minibuses so fit everything in no probs
The hotel is nice and close to the marina where there is lots of bars and good restaurants.

The resort is very golfer orientated but I am told in the summer its just a regular resort with familys etc ..

I found this hotel very comfortable. The rooms are a good size, the staff friendly and efficient and the included breakfast very good. The location is ideal, perfect for getting around the marina, walking distance to Quarteira, etc. The pool deck looked lovely although I did not get a chance to use it as this was only a short visit. The parking was secure and there was no charge. The most impressive feature of the room was the veranda and the fantastic view of the marina from the room. I normally use serviced apartments when I am in Vilamoura but if I was only staying for a few nights I would be happy to use this hotel.

Must say the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Great location and posh resort. However, avoid going there in December if you are afraid of being in a quiet place. I was there for 4 days and no more than 5 guests for the whole period. Good hotel although certain facilities are a little tired.
