Thank you Crowne Plaza we visited 31.01.12 to 4.02.12 and had a great time. Right from start check 2 hours early no problem .....need help with bags no problem.........and that's is how our whole visit was Staff great very friendly and happy to help.... Room 515 first class..... Every thing works just as it should .........We WILL return ...Many thanks......Les : ).

We had the pleasure of a short end-of-January break at this Hotel this year. The Hotel is circa 2 years old and is in excellent condition, very modern and extremely comfortable. Our spacious room had twin beds, tea/coffee facilities, efficient air conditioning and a good balcony. The glass bathroom/wet room was surprising until we discovered the electric blind that came down to preserve modesty!!
The lounge on the ground floor has the bar area and some very comfortable seating. The outside terrace has plenty of seating and there is a good pool with sun loungers.
Breakfast was buffet-style and highly satisfactory.
Superb location near the sea front. We had an enjoyable walk from the hotel along the promenade of the neighbouring town Quarteira. Vilamoura marina is an easy 5 minute walk from the hotel.

Hotel facilities good and well located within 5 mins walk to marina. Nice pool and bar area.

However vast majority of staff in the hotel very unfriendly even rude. Hotel fairly dated, slightly up market Holiday Inn but certainly not 5 Star. Never experienced a smile from either the reception or bar staff during my stay. Had to pay for WiFi in the room and when I rang down to reception I was told I had to go down, pay in person and collect the code - very abruptly told it could not be done over the phone.

Poor breakfast.

Stayed at Tivoli Victoria before Crowne Plaza and the Tivoli is in a completely different league in all areas - quality of the room, modern feel in hotel and general attitude of the staff. True 5 star compared to lower 4 star.

Just Came back after having three lovely nights at The Crown Plaza. We found the staff welcoming and friendly the hotel is the best we have stayed in Villamoura having stayed a various hotels it is a lot better than the Hilton and we will be going back again hopefully in May for a longer stay. The rooms are very comfortable and very clean.we had a room on a high floor over looking the Marina and beach the view was stunning to wake up to on a January morning .The Pool area is very nice with comfortable sunbeds and the beach a stones throw away . It is in an ideal location next to the beach and 5 to 10 mins walk to the marina where there are good restaurants and bars .
