“Nice view, big and confortable rooms”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 December 2011

This is not normally the kind of accomodation that I would book (usually I prefer smaller places) but my mother wanted to spend Christmas in Sesimbra and off we went. I was not disappointed, mostly it was very good, for instance:

- rooms are very clean and big, confortable bed
- room service is cheap
- the view to the sea is amazing from the balcony
- amazing location right near the beach
- you can use the spa facilities for free like the small interior swimming pool and the hamman

Some cons would include: if you go during summer you would have to rent a car to explore the nearby and less crowded beaches. The breakfast could be improved, I felt the food was too plastic and an offense to portuguese food which was odd regarding the dinner which was very very good. The place is just too big but that is really a matter of taste, I prefer a more cosy kind of hotel.

If you're looking for a clean and well appointed hotel for a stay with your family close to one of the best beaches in Sesimbra area go ahead. If you want a romantic stay with your partner better go to a small place in Meco for example.

“Great view!!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 September 2011 via mobile

The hotel has an excellent location with a great view over the beach.
With a different architecture, we have almost everything we need, even a small but wonderful spa.

Never the less there are some things that must be improved such as wi-fi in all the areas, maintenance of the rooms, specially the bathrooms and the menu at lunch.

“Loved the place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 August 2011 via mobile

Am writing this from my balcony overlooking the fantastic beach. This place has been great to stay at. Rooms large tidy. Beds comfortable. Everything except room air con worked well. Lounge iron worked so it wasn't a major issue. Loved the pool and thank god it wasn't heated as there is no benefit in a warm pool when it's 30 degrees outside. The pool was about 5 degrees warmer than the sea and that's good for me. The beach is crowded when looked at from a height but fine on the ground and they have reserved tented areas for hotel guests which is good. Breakfast range was wide and healthy as well. Bar service available by pool and free Internet in bar. Actually you also get free wifi from the balconies as well so that's a bonus. We have only heard English spoken twice in 3 days here so far but that's ok. The staff here and in all the restaurants all do their best with English and that makes it great to visit .Try sesimbra. It's not a tourist hotspot but we loved it

“We've been before and would be happy to return”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 August 2011

This hotel is a typical sterile architecture beachfront hotel...however rooms are huge, most with sea facing balconies. Fixtures and fittings are of excellent quality and staff very pleasant although do not expect everyone to speak English. Breakfast is of good international hotel standard withgoodfresh fruit although coffee is peculiar to that hotel. Not to my taste. Restaurant/bar for lunch or dining is featureless and overpriced but this is no issue when there is a myriad of fish/seafood restaurants in all price ranges within a few minutes walk along a delightful seafront. The hotel spa is very very expensive but the pool area is pleasant for a snooze but remember the pool is unheated. Access to the hotel's parking is a bit tricky, best chat to reception about best routes in and out! If you have a late check out, the hotel is happy to give you towels and somewhere to shower /change. A nice touch.

Room Tip: Practice with the safe before stowing your valuables!

“Amazing view, nice spa”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 June 2011

The hotel is quite nice, I mostly enjoyed the massage at the spa, as well as the warmed swimming pool, sauna and turkish bath.
