Visited the Hotel before but had never stayed overnight. The location is superb right next to the beach and a perfect base in which to explore this pretty fishing village. The sea-view room was well appointed and clean with two comfortable twin beds.
Breakfast was a bit disappointing. An uninspiring hot buffet and water base orange juice. Portugal have a surplus of oranges that they can't sell so why this reconstituted nonsense? Opt for the fresh coffee directly from the machine the other is dreadful.
Parking a car can be awkward so avail yourself of the car park below - bit tight but secure.
The Spa on top floor has a truly magnificent view. The pool is rather shallow and the steam room will only accommodate two people! Like many hotel leisure facilities the sauna wasn't 'on' - they rarely are aren't they?
Main reception friendly and management helpful.
If your a golfer go and try the local course 'Quinta Do Peru' only 30mins away or perhaps a ferry from Setubal to Troia - both magnificent.
That all said I would definitely stay again.
