I chose this location for its easy access to western Westphalia and eastern Gelderland. It was much more than I'd expected. As a lone senior woman traveler I was completely at home. The rooms were impeccable, the restaurant and its service excellent. When I needed help (broke a tooth!) the desk staff whipped into action and arranged an immediate appointment with a local dentist. I simply couldn't have been more comfortable or pleased with the service. The rates were very fair, although I must admit that it was sort of the off-season. I recommend the half-board for American travelers. It includes an excellent breakfast and a 5-course evening meal.
