A lovely hotel with beautiful views of the Limburg hills. The rooms are very big, tasteful, comfortable and clean with free fast and efficient wifi set up properly on each floor. The breakfasts are good, the usual continental variety and there's lots to choose from, probably one of the best breakfast I've had in a hotel for a while. The gardens are wonderful and very well kept with direct access from the back to miles of woodland walking routes.
However, it has a small swimming pool which in my opinion is closed way too early at 7:30pm, so if you like to spend your days not confined to the hotel, which in this area of The Netherlands you shouldn't, put kids that need to eat early in the mix, you can forget about using it. We've been unable to use it for the 3 days we booked and specifically chose this hotel for the pool, which we love using after a hard days mountain biking/snowboarding so we wish we went elsewhere. They also charge extra for the whirlpool, other hotels in the same area, don't. One of the staff also tried to claim all hotels do this which just so obviously isn't the case, including other hotels within the same area. Pity about this because it would have been perfect.
I will recommend it to people, but isn't ideal for us.
