This Hotel Was the Best I Ever Stayed At, Whoever Writes Those Bad Pointless Reveiws Must Have No Taste! It Was Brilliant, The Food Was Perfect, The Staff Were Friendly, The Rooms Were Clean And There Was Entertainment every Night! e.g. Nintendo Wii, 50 Inch Plasma Screen TV, Pool Table And You Could Handle Their Big Friendly Parrot!

So, Really I dont See How the Hotel Was Bad.... And Also, The Toilets Always Smelt And Looked Nice!

We Love You Hotel Den Halder!

Well, after reading the positive reviews, we made a choice for this hotel and stayed for 3 nights at the Den Halder hotel. Most likely the hotel was completely full, since we got a room in the extension of the hotel (one block away) at the topfloor, i.e. room 47.
The room is hardly decorated, it is also used as storage room since some extra beds were also stored in a part of the room. The beds to sleep in, were extremely hard, which was caused by real old-fashioned shelves under the mattres!! The most horrible thing about the room though was the bathroom, you had to climb into the bathtub, before taking a shower. really dangerous!
The good things: friendly staff and the room was clean.
Perhaps we should have complained, we did not. We had a great time at Valkenburg and fantastic weather, furthermore I think we had simply bad luck, but stay away from room 47!!
