Hotel was pre-booked by tour company as part of a winter break therefore did not have a say in the double room allocated to us BUT AVOID rooms 222/223/224 at all costs - the ceilings were low and t.v. was an old and I do mean OLD portable (but it was colour and did have a remote) the cramped toilet/bathroom meant you could sit on w.c and wash your face at the same time as thats where you face ended up in the basin !!
Lights did not all work in room and fittings missing off wardrobe door staff were friendly and food was good but would not stay here again or recommend it to other travellers based on our poor experience.

Read reviews was a little concerned. Turned out to be an excellent choice. Rooms very clean and I think we stayed in the "adjoining" part of the hotel which was as good as the main part. The buffet breakfast was excellent with an extensive choice. The 5 course dinner was also excellent and I am a "fussy" eater. When I wasnt sure what to have the waiter gave me another choice. The staff were friendly and very helpful. It was in an excellent position - virtually minutes from the centre.

We stayed in the Best Western Hotel Walram for a weekend. The hotel is in the centre of Valkenburg town with its own parking. The rooms are large but clean and tidy if as little dated, good value for a weekend.

We were a group of 46 mainly senior citizens visiting the area for the Christmas Markets. The hotel staff were friendly and obliging arranging meal times to fit our itinerary. The food was excellent and the rooms spotlessly clean. We had a variety of rooms with some having a "tardis" for a shower room/toilet but all agreed that it did not matter for three nights. The hotel is very conveniently situated and I would recommend other groups to use the hotel.
