I stayed here for a couple of nights in early August 2011 whilst on business in the area.
The hotel is conventiently located within walking distance of the train station and town centre. The reception area and bar are nicely presented and check in was quick and efficient. The staff are pleasant and helpful.
The rooms are in annexes of the hotel, not in the main building.
Breakfast is typical Dutch spread served in the airy breakfast room, whcih is within the main building.
The room I was allocated was on the ground floor with a second door leading onto a communcal patio area. It wasn't very private but the hotel was, generally speaking, quiet.
The standard of housekeeping could be better; the bathroom floor hadn't been cleaned thoroughly and there were rogue hairs on the towel and floor. The bedroom carpet needed to be vacuumed and was stained. The lighting system was strange; the wall light above the bed doesn't work unless the table lamp is plugged in.
The bar is reasonably priced. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant for lunches or evening meals but there are numerous restaurants within walking distance. Il Macchiato Italian restaurant is worth a try.
Check out was efficient and the room prices are reasonalbe if not perhaps slightly high for the standard of accommodation. Whilst the public areas are well presented and modern, the bedrooms require refurbishment.
All in all this hotel served its purpose, was comfortable and conveniently located.
