This place is only good for night stop between connecting flights. There is basically not much around the place to do, see or eat. There are airport transit buses from the hotel every 30 - 45 mins. Dont choose it if you plan to explore the city. It is completely cut off from the city. Rooms are extremely tiny, bathroom is just a cubicle.

I usually stay at the Sheraton attached to the airport, but have been priced out recently - as they have really raised their rates. I was a bit concerned about having to take a shuttle to get over to this hotel, as not quite as convenient, but the shuttle ride was short.

The lobby is a bit busy and can be confusing, but check- in was only a ten minute wait despite the busy crowd.

The rooms are small, but very serviceable.
Room was quite, so noise not a problem for sleep.

The 60's US style diner served ok hamburger...

Was disappointed I was unable to convert some dollars to euros in the lobby... Was told to wait to see if any would show up (odd request) and they didn't.

The shuttle in the morning was timely and got me to the airport just fine.

The wide array of television options perfect for business traveler that just wants to relax a bit between flights.

Overall a decent place, but no frills.
Perfect for a lay-over, but wouldn't want to stay long (especially with the small rooms).

After miscalculating the time zone difference in Philippines and Germany I had no choice but to stay in Amsterdam. Having no idea where to stay, I inquired at the tourist info counter at Schipol Airport and they recommended Ibis Hotel. What I like most of this hotel is the location and the FREE shuttle service to/from Airport where you can catch the train to the city center. The staff are courteous and helpful.

One of the hotels close to the Schiphol Airport with free shuttle bus to the terminals (approx. 15 minutes) so it is a good choice for a stopover. Be not afraid of the noise made by airplanes, the hotel is distant enough from the airport and the rooms are really quiet. The room was OK, not spacious but clean. Breakfast was rather average but there was nothing to really complain about.

There were some construction works in the lobby and as an apology for the inconvenience (actually, we didn't suffer any) the staff offered us with a voucher for free drink. Nice.
