Like the other reviews say, the Palace is not quite what it's supposed to be. I was there on ESA business and had a room way in the back at the very reasonable ESA rate. The room was pretty ordinary except for the high tech shower, which was certainly nice. No tea service and a tiny CRT television were definitely not up to the standards of a 5-star hotel. I passed on the 20 euro per day parking and instead parked down the street at a pay lot next to the beach. It was November and the lot didn't charge from 6 p.m. to 10 a.m. So since I was away all day at ESTEC, it never cost me anything (I think it's free from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. in the summer). I also passed on the 17 euro breakfast. The staff were generally friendly and got my wake-up calls right. But certainly nothing special. I hear the ESA rate for the Huis ter Duin is the same so if you use the ESA travel service, go there instead.

This hotel is located at a few minutes walk from the beach, just outside the city centre (perfect, so no sounds from bars and disco) and very quietly located. A big plus is the parking garage under the hotel. The interior of the rooms is outdated, but everything is functional and well maintained. Staff is very friendly and willing to solve any issues one might have. Food is great.

Big downside is the price for the WiFi, price for 24 hours is the same as 3G for one month.

Good four-star hotel in Noordwijk. Not directly at the beach, and therefore no nice sea-view from your balcony. Rather new hotel with good service, on walking distance of the beach and boulevard. Breakfast average, for diner I would advice to seek for a nice place on the boulevard. parking is expensive.

I spent one day at this hotel and considering to return in 2 weeks for three more days. Because the stay was so short, I did not manage to use the spa facilities. The room I stayed in was clean but sadly facing the parking lots. The highlight of the room was the shower which served as a steam bath (with fragrance)! The location was wonderful too. It's very close to the beach (an easy 3-4 minute stroll), to the city (5 minutes) and right next to a lovely restaurant/bar/club called Blush. The only weird thing was when I returned at 2 am, the reception was shut. I had to get buzzed into the hotel which wasn't a problem at all. Just found it interesting since I'm used to hotels with 24-hour reception.
