“Great Aparthotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 November 2011

I stayed here with my fiance for a new year break for my 21st birthday!

this hotel is great and clean and has all teh facillities that you need. There is a bus that stops right outside the front of this hotel that takes you to chatillon montrouge which is the nearest metro station. It takes 2 mins on bus or 10 min walk to get to the metro from hotel and from the hotel you can see the whole of paris.

Great room with all the mod cons. tv, wifi etc. very very happy with our stay here

The only downside is that the bed folds down from the wall so rubbish matress which made for a bad nights sleep but overall it was ok.

“Not happy with value for money or service”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 June 2011

Upon arrival booking was not found on system as booking had been made in the wrong name. This issue may have been partly down to the booking agent however I spotted my name on the system later on which had been added as a note to the booking previously.

Poor standard of service from staff not understanding about problems incurred.

Room cost 190 EUR per night, a quick glance online shows many people pay 1/3 of this as a “sale” price. I would say 60 EUR per night is maximum what this hotel is worth: Had to dismantle the sofa to get the bed down, the furniture was very cheap, the mattress very uncomfortable hard foam etc etc.

I requested a taxi at 7:30 for 8:10 they said they would order it 15 mins beforehand if they remembered – they forgot, also later no taxi was found which left me in the lurch at 8:10.

I accidentally left my wash bag in the bathroom after I checked out however when I returned for the wash bag 24 hrs later staff had lost this and they were very unhelpful regarding trying to find it. For example one female receptionist that hard already been difficult asked me to call back later, however the gentlemen I later spoke to started getting shirty with me for already phoning, I wouldn't be suprised if the washbag was still somewhere in the hotel

“Great place to visit Paris from, very comfortable for family with two kids”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 June 2011

We really like this place. Lots of room for a reasonable price - essentially they gave us a 1 bedroom apartment for 2 adults, 2 kids.. It is somewhat distant from the city center, but reasonably well connected. It is a reasonably comfortable walk from Jean Moulin tramway station, and the Porte de Orleans Metro station is only a stop to the East. From there, the #4 train pretty much does a straight up and down across the city, so can conveniently connect to the #1 to go to the Louvre, or to the #6 to go to the Eiffel tower. The lady at the front desk was very friendly, helpful and efficient. There is a large Monoprix supermarket/grocery store right nearby, so one can make good use of the refrigerator, kitchen and cooking utensils that come with the apartment. A pharmacy is also very nearby. One of the nice things is this is in a residential neighbourhood, so walking the streets provided a glimpse of life in Paris. Would love to come back again in the future!
