“Heavenly”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 May 2010

Some weeks ago my wife and me returned from 2 SUPER weeks in B&B Caravelle.This b&b is a perfect place to stay,apartments are charming, comfortable and clean!
The villa is in front of the beach and the garden and pool is nice.

Its central located in the south/east its perfect to make day-trips on this wonderfull area..
Near the villa there are several good restaurants.

The hospitality of the family/owners are very very warm, they really make you feel welcome and at home.
Because of the vulcanic as problems we could not go home as scheduled, so we had to stay longer, the staff and family were very helpfull to look for different flight.

Francesca, Maria, Andrea and Ricardo, many many thanks for everything

“nice B&B, good facilities, breakfast can improve”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 September 2009

Nice B&B with good facilities (especially swimming pool, nice terras, clean room with good shower...) & quite location, away from Cagliari;
Breakfast could be improved (no fresh bread, no cheese or egs...);
Not really a warm welcome. Woman didn't speak a word of English; she couldn't gave us some good adresses to eat in the evening...

“A hidden gem in the south of Sardegna”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 August 2009

We had the wow factor from the moment we walked through the gate... it really looked like on the website, from the automatic portal to the path laid through the garden planted with palm trees, the swimming pool surrounded by deck chairs in the back of the garden...the hammocks in the shade of Eucalyptus trees and the back portal opening up to the sea front.
Everything is about the details...and so is the hospitallity from Ricardo and Mary...they make you feel at home, the experience is so more personal without being intrusive...
The place has a quiet feel to it...where you really can relax and charge your batteries...
So far my second home in Sardegna

My husband and I returned from 2 fabulous weeks in Sardinia Italy.. I cannot say enough about Caravelle and the very special people (Maria, Ricardo, Andreas, and really the whole family) who make you feel welcomed and at home. We owe them many thanks for the hospitality they showed us. The trip would not have been the same if we had stayed elsewhere. We thank them wholheartedly for treating us like family. (Ricardo we have not forgotten about your pancakes) .

The apartments are charming and are filled with eveything you might need to be comfortable. The property itself is well maintained and extremely close to the beach. The pool is very relaxing after coming in from a long day of touring the island. They offer a great variety of things for breakfast in the morning.

Caravelle is a wonderful place to use as a spring board to start your adventures to other destinations to places in other parts of the island,. We went on many daytrips as we were close to some of the best beach destinations. I will say however the island is not possible if you dont have a car- so ensure that you rent one while you are there.

Don't know where to eat for lunch or dinner? Check in with the wonderful reccomendations made by the hosts as they are bound to send you on a local flavor adventure. Try out Primo Piano which is just down the street from the Caravelle. They offer fine Sardinian food and great hospitality.

When we left Maria and Ricardo at Caravelle, I was extremely sad. We whole heartedly reccommend this place. You couldn't pay for this kind of hospitality anywhere else.

“Warm welcome, wonderful place, extra-ordinary people”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 May 2008

15 minutes from Cagliari, easy to reach, we enjoyed a very warm welcome by the owners and relaxed by the fascinating swimming pool after a few days visiting south Sardinia and Cagliari, during San Efisio festival.
Biking and strolling around is full of flavours to brush off any winter tireness.
Highly reccomendable.
