Just returned from a weeks holiday, Hotel is completely spotless, all the staff have a friendly smile & are extremely welcoming.
Excellent breakfast buffet available between extremely reasonable holiday waking hours which can be enjoyed either inside or on the outside terrace!!
We stayed in the Junior Suite - lovely and spacious with great views (although the olive tree near the balcony could do with a slight trim on top, so's not to obscure the view!!!) - no air con but the fan was more than sufficient.
As other reviewers state not a long walk into Limone, however we found the restaurants all seemed to have the same menu's - we were very disappointed and found the food tasteless to be honest, the hotel breakfast was by far the best choice going!!!
We would recommend this hotel if you are looking to be away from the general hubub as it is sited on the outskirts of limone - although you do have the main road running above you which was a little noise when sitting on the balcony.
We were offered free access to a nearby hotel's swimming pool and there is a choice of two nearby beaches, both only five minutes walk away.
There is free parking outside the hotel ( parking is at a premium in Limone ).
** One thing to note if you are going to arrive after 8pm you must telephone the hotel before 7pm to advise them or you may not be able to book in - you will be charged 10 euros per hour for every hour after 8pm, this is to enable a staff member to be paid to wait for you** - we did not have this issue but always handy to know!!

I was SOOOOO sad to leave this wonderful place after my three day stay. The entire staff was so friendly and helpful. Manuela, the mgr, was the absolute best! She upgraded my room to one w/ an amazing view of the lake and then proceeded to do everything she could to make my stay in Limone unbelievably enjoyable. I loved the fact that the hotel is a tiny bit removed from the center, and that Limone itself is a bit removed from the crush of some of the other lake towns. After a busy day of sightseeing, I looked forward to my stroll "back home" along the lake pathway, to relax in this idyllic spot.

The staff were sensational, end of the season really for them but everyone of them had a smile and helped. Nothing was too much for them. Great views onto the lake as well.

My friend and I stayed here at the end of august, and had the junior suite for 4 nights, then had to move to a smaller room as the suite had already been booked for our last night. The first room (205) was lovely, spacious, had a small balcony overlooking the road (and the lake) and another outside space with deck chairs. Shower, towels etc all great, no aircon but a fan (a bit noisy though), but the beds were quite hard, as were the pillows.

Our second room, 101 on the ground floor, was a disappointment - very small, internal bathroom, no balcony or outside space, and windows opened right onto the street (ie everyone walking past could see directly in). Also, it is near reception and there is no door between to block out the noise.

Breakfast was good, although there could have been a bit more fresh fruit, but there is a lovely area outside in which to eat. We used the loungers at the lake at nearby Hotel Romantic a couple of times - only problem with Limone is that it loses the sun early than the other side of the lake. We made the easy stroll into central limone for dinner every night. I would definitely recommend this hotel, the staff were helpful and friendly, but I suggest getting the junior suite, and stay off the ground floor rooms.

Also recommend the tour to Isola Del Garda from Salo - the information from limone tourist office was wrong, but you can call the Isola people up and get further information.
