It is a very comfortable hotel, with wonderfull breakfast (very nice kittens) and excellent service. The interior of the rooms is unusual but stylish and comfortable.

Our booking at ML was to be our "luxury" part of our 10 week European trip from April to June 2010. We loved every minute of it. We even stayed an extra night because of the strikes in Athens and were given a generous late checkout so we could make the most of it. Our room was lovely and the dining area and food fantastic. Best of all was the staff. They were so friendly and helpful. Maria, the manager came to us the night before we were to leave to let us know that there was a strike at Athens airport therefore we couldn't fly back. She asked us whether we would like to stay on or book another hotel. Even though it was more expensive than most hotels it was well worth it. Maria even had our new tickets brought to the hotel which meant we didn't have to drive all the way to Rhodes airport. Whilst having a pool would have been nice, the beach is a short walk and everything else made up for it. Make sure you go for a walk out to the peninsula directly opposite and don't miss the sunrising from below the Acropolis!

We stayed at the Melenos Lindos for 3 nights in early November and found it to be one of the most memorable and enjoyable trips in Europe. The hotel was absolutely beautiful, both the splendid views of the ocean and the interior decorations and style. We were there after the tourist season had ended, which allowed us nearly the entire beach to ourselves. For those that want a relaxing time with family and friends, this is the definitely the best time of the year to go. The best part of the experience was the wonderful food we enjoyed. From a leisurely breakfast with delicious coffee pastries, and yogurt to wonderful multi-course dinners, the food was a treat. I even got to enjoy a two hour cooking lesson with their head chef, learning some incredible dishes to wow my friends back home. I would highly recommend the Melenos Lindos for anyone looking for a relaxing yet elegant vacation.

We have just returned from an amazing stay at the Melenos Lindos, thanks so much to the owner Michalis and his kind hearted & hard working team! We know Rhodes well and always visit Lindos either at the start or end of the season. End of Oct especially really is the perfect time to savour the delights of what is one of the most idyllic places in all of Greece.

Like Goa20 who posts before me I am at a loss as to the prior contributor's (Gabriel9999) comments! She must live on a different planet to rest of us and clearly has no idea about the Greek islands. I am sorry but I find the way she refers to Greeks as utterly offensive and extremely small minded. To make such generalised & derogatory referrals to all Greeks is just astonishing. She paints a picture of someone who would rather be locked within the confines of an all inclusive resort, well away from ‘real world’ reality! I am sure others will also be saddened and offended at her foul language (use of the word c**p). I also cannot believe her small minded comment about ‘as for Greece itself, we won’t be back’. My goodness, I don’t care for certain places in USA and Canada but if I had adopted the same childish attitude as her then I would not return year on year to such places, countries I dearly love!

We were at the Melenos at exactly the same time and can confidently say that the quality of the food is unbeatable, in fact I would go as far as to say that the breakfasts were the best we have had anywhere and my comparison takes into account dozens of top notch 5 star establishments in the USA, Australia, Dubai and Malaysia! Additionally Melenos Lindos would not be ranked No. 2 by so many contributors if any of what Gabriel9999 says is correct! Neither would the Melenos Restaurant be separately ranked so high among all the restaurants in Lindos.

There were many restaurants open in Lindos at the end of October and I can confirm that we had the pleasure of eating at Stefany’s, Ambrosia, Dionysos, Arhontiko, Skala, Mare Mare, and Traditional House. However Melenos Lindos was the restaurant we kept going back to! Having visited Lindos in peak season I can whole heartedly recommend visiting right at the very end of the season. There is so much to do on Rhodes, we hired a car and explored all along the west coast and saw the best sunset we have seen anywhere in the world at Monolithos!

Keep up your great work Melenos Lindos, you have a magical offering and am amazing product. Please don’t let one negative review in the last two years sadden you. Instead focus on the 120+ other people who like me cannot sing your praises enough! We will be back next year for sure. Thanks again.
