This was my first visit to this Hotel and my review is as follows:
1) Excellent location next to beach - Pebble beach
2) Excellant Staff - Friendly and all will do whatever they can to help you.
3) Room cleaned - everyday including changing towels put in bath.
4) Food for lunch & Evening meal very good. Breakfast not so good - luke warm but I used the microwave in the lounge area to re-heat food. Suggest Hotel install microwave in dinning room.
5) Childrens club - Animation team excellent
6) Evening entertainment - By Animation Team good.
7) Bar staff in Hotel & beach bar excellent.
8) Reception staff excellent
9 Family room excellent including air conditioning.

I hope my good review makes up for the bad reviews on Trip Advisor
Note: I have stayed in many 4 star Hotels around the world and I believe this is a excellent value for money Hotel.

our third visit Artur is 100% professional and does not fraternise with any guest Aniko has a brilliant bubbly personality and isn't pushy at all if you dont want to join in the activities they always say thank you,as for Tshirt selling there is no hard sell unless your children are hassling you.The hotel is the "FRIENDLY HOTEL" from the receptionist,cleaners,dining /bar staff Animation team and the dining room manager this seems to rub off on the guests because we always come away a list of new friends to contact. This hotel is very clean the food is very good with lots of choice the drinks are never ending (ok the bar closes at midnight not eleven oclock(who are these people))so if you want to feel the Avra beach effect get booking and have a great holiday. My partner and I have just returned home from an All Inclusive week at Avra Beach hotel after being moved there because our original choice OCEANIS closed early for the season. We had a great time in Rhodes but the hotel had a few things wrong with it. Firstly The name in the title Avno beach is because there wasn't one, there is access to the sea but If you are wanting a beach holiday dont stay here. The rooms were really run down and dated and never worthy of 4 star status. There was a lot of praise on reviews to the animation team but we found them quite tedious and annoying, especially when it came to the evening and they began their nightly noise with the kids which was like a stuck record. The few times there was entertainment for the adults it was embarrassing and silly. We are up for a laugh as much as the next person but it really was poor for a hotel with 4 stars. The place was winding down as the season was ending and it was felt, even the Olympic rep wasn't enthusiastic as she just palmed us off at the meeting saying that because it was the end of the season nothing was open on the island including the WaterPark and all the excursions had ended which going through different channels we found was all A lie. If we had just taken her advice then we would have just ended up round the hotel all week instead of enjoying some great days out, the highlight being Lindos, a beautiful place with lots of history and such a nice walk up through the winding cobbled streets lined with shops and tavernas to the acropolis. Old Rhodes town was a must also but be prepared for restaurant workers vying for your trade. The hotel wasn't all bad, The Food was excellent and the restaurant area and bar made up for the rooms, really modern and clean. Drinks were plentiful and the staff always kept on top of clearing pots and keeing things moving along. As for the flight, It was with Strategic Airlines, never use them, the planes are ready for the scrap heap and you are squeezed into it like sardines. Would we go back? Yes to Rhodes but to a different resort and not the end of the season. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday inspite of the hotel not because of it. Jay an Debs

This was our 3rd holiday at Avra Beach hotel. We keep coming back to this hotel as it has such a relaxed atmosphere. The staff are so friendly and helpful, good food, drinks and rooms are comfortable and clean. We look forward to our next visit .
