I called from the airport to inquire how far it was from the Aiport ,it was the longest 5 minutes of my life.On the phone i asked If there was a shuttle available to take me back to the airport at 7am they told me that it was available.When i got to the hotel i was told i had to take a cab and that it was fully booked for the next day .I was told a cab would cost about 20 Euro it was $35 Euro Big Jump .i could not even get enough blankets for my familly the staff sipmply told me we dont provide any extra blankets 4 people expected to share 2 single bed comforters.My take it is better to pay more for a 4 star hotel and get what ypu paid for this was not worth it all and costed even more in the end,the satffis very unhelptful.

Don't be fooled-- this is not a convenient airport hotel.
[1] I arrived by Regional Train at 15:23, 15:30 shuttle was booked, had reservation for 14:30, it was overbooked (only one shuttle with capacity of 8 every hour, serving two hotels). We were sent by Taxi but only 20 min. later-- had to be outside in very cold weather for 30 mins. Travel time to airport is close to 25 mins when weather is not great, 0 in good weather and low traffic times. On check-in, asked for next day's 9am shuttle for my 11:40 flight, but it was already full--had to go early by 8am shuttle. Nearly 25mins ride each way, Taxi would cost 30-35 Euro. Going to city is not too convenient.
[2] In hotel room, next to 10+yr old TV, no room for my mini-laptop, and no nearby socket to plug it in--had to seat on bed in uncomfortable position to work. Internet in room: 8 Euro per hour, or 13 Euro for 24 hrs.
[3] Restaurant offers a sort of Hungarian food with some choices of pasta. Food was well below average.

Room rate was relatively good, and room is ok to crash for a night-- so if you have a car, perhaps and you are on tight budget, perhaps worth considering. For the rest, I think there are better overall value.

Hotel Achat at Frankfurt is a good hotel. The staff is really cooperative, always smiling and happy. The restaurant is also very good.

We booked this hotel through a kiosk at the Frankfurt airport. You pick up the phone and click the hotel site and speak with a rep at the other side of the airport. We needed a quick overnight between an arrival from Paris to Frankfurt at 9:00 pm and a departure from Frankfurt to LAX at 8:00 the next morning. The very nice lady on the phone booked us this hotel with shuttle and breakfast included. We were told the last shuttle pick up was 10:30 pm, so we booked the 10pm shuttle. We arrived that night and waited out front at the pickup but no shuttle came to pick us up. Finally at 10:20pm a van came up with the Hotel Achat name on it. I was relieved and went to the van. The driver said he was full and made a phone call. He then put us in a cab and told us the hotel would pay when we arrived. I questioned the driver and asked for a name. He would not give me his name or the person he spoke to on the phone. The cab driver spoke to us and the van driver and off we went... After half an hours drive through forest we arrived at the hotel. The driver came in and the night clerk told us we would have to pay the 30 Euro fare. We had gotten rid of all of our money since we were going home the next morning. I asked for the manager and was told it was after hours. The night clerk was very rude and had no problem sending the cab driver away without payment. He then told us that we did not have a reservation for the shuttle or breakfast. I pulled up my email confirmtion to show him but he became even more rude.
The hotel is too far away for the airport and barely a 2 star hotel. The breakfast was the redeeming value of the hotel.
