“Swimming pool off”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 October 2009

We booked this hotel while travelling through the Pirineos and chose it because of the inner and outer pools: the inner pool was closed and will be for some time as we were told, the outer is like a large tank in a basement (shadow almost all afternoon). When pools are not working we shoud know it whe booking through the internet.
The rooms are quite spatious and well decorated .

“Avoid this hotel, severe problems”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 June 2009

We rented one of the suites upstairs, with a loft bedroom. The air conditioning barely functioned, and there was no vent for it in the loft or any window in the loft, so it was suffocatingly hot. We tried to call the front desk several times, but it was always busy. After dressing and going down to the front desk where the clerk finished her phone call with "ok sweetheart, I'll talk to you later, I love you, good bye".....she explained that those rooms sit in the sun all day and it's impossible to cool them...that the AC for all rooms is controlled by computer in the basement and shuts everything off at midnight. There were no other rooms to move to. The internet service promised on their website also did not work, either WiFi (only in the lobby) or by cable in the rooms with either of our fairly new computers, and again the front desk clerk had no idea what was wrong.

After a mostly sleepless night (we did move the mattresses downstairs to the salon closer to the only window that would open), we left the hotel around 6:30am after speaking with the manager who was useless. She explained that only three guests had complained about hot rooms, so therefore it wasn't that big of a problem.

Not once did anyone say they were ever sorry for the problems, they only said there was nothing they could do, and that's exactly what they did.

Hotel severely overpriced for this total lack of service and amenities. The only good part was the restaurant food was good and reasonably priced, but that hardly makes up for a sleepless night.

“Helpful and Friendly staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 August 2007

This hotel is perfectly located in natural surroundings. We were there to enjoy the nature and visit a friend, but I can imagine that one would come back to also enjoy some good winter fun. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpfull as they helped us plan some excursions. I am planning to go back to this hotel as the area around it is amazing and there is much more for me to explore. I am in the hotel business myself and I can say that this hotel is doing very well when it comes to professionalism mixed with honest friendliness. Thank you very much everybody at Hotel Reina Felicia!

“A real Gem! For rest, TLC and access to spectacular Alpine walks”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 April 2007

This hotel was a gem! Alberto and staff made this our most relaxing and restful time in Spain. We needed to get away from the hussle and bussle and were bowled over by the friendly and helpful interest the staff offered. While a bit out of Jaca, it provided some great views of the Alps, hassle free parking, quiet and easy access to some spectacular alpine walks in the Odessa National Park. We have stayed in some glamourous hotels (nine in all thus far - from Seville to Barcelona) but this was the best by far. Can heartedly recommend coming here.

“Most excellent stay”

We arrived more by luck that judgement at the Hotel Reina Felicia whilst on a motorcycling holiday in the area. We were offered a great deal by the hotel manager (Alberto) which included very secure parking for the motorcycles and were a short walk from the town centre.

The hotel was in a great location from a climbing/skiing/ motorcycling point of view being nestled in the foothills of the pyrenees and were given loads of great advice by the staff who were very eager ensure our stay was good.

A special mention should be made of the hotel manager alberta, who was charming and concerned that our stay at the hotel was as it should be. Also the barman Miguel who made our evenings in the bar a pleasure.

Thank you Hotel Reina Felicia
